Our Clubs...
Are for boys & girls. Being a member of a Boys & Girls Club satisfies the age-old desire of young people to have a "club" of their own.
Are non-sectarian and have an open-door policy. Our Clubs are open to all members during their regular operating hours, when girls & boys need them most.
Have full-time professional leadership. The staff is supplemented by part-time wokers and volunteers.
Build character. We help and guide girls & boys who may be in danger of acquiring, or who already have acquired, unacceptable habits and attitudes, as well as boys & girls of good character.
Assure that all girls & boys can afford to belong. Membership dues are kept low, currently $5 a year, so no one will be deterred from joining.
Are for all boys & girls. Young people of all races, religions and ethnic cultures are welcome.
Have a varied and diversified program that works. The Clubs recognize and respond to the collective and individual needs of young people, utilizing nationally recognized educational and recreational programs that have proven effective over many years.
Are guidance-oriented. Our Clubs emphasize positive values in the relationships Members have with each other and with adult leaders. It helps young people make appropriate choices in their physical, educational, personal, social, emotional, vocational and spiritual lives.
